Professor Koh has recently been working on behalf of Ukraine at the International Court of Justice and will be sharing updates on his work with the team of lawyers who successfully sued Russia on behalf of Ukraine at the World Court in The Hague, Netherlands.

TFED Thrilled to be partnering with UNC Global Affairs as we welcome Kathryn Hewitt back to The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this Thursday to discuss the current security environment – with a focus on China and Russia, the evolving dynamics of NATO, AUKUS, the P5, and much more.
Kathryn Hewitt earned her MA degree at UNC, with a thesis on Global Politics, and now works with the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Policy Office for Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction as Advisor for Multilateral Arms Control and Nonproliferation. Kate previously served with the National Nuclear Security Administration and with The Brookings Institution.

Professor Harold Koh: Suing Russia for Ukraine at the World Court
On March 24th, the Transatlantic Forum for Education and Diplomacy will welcome Professor Harold Hongju Koh -- one of the country’s leading experts in international law and human rights -- to UNC-Chapel Hill's campus. Professor Koh will speak at the Nelson Mandela Auditorium in the FedEx Global Education Center on Thursday, March 24th at 5:30 PM ET: “Suing Russia for Ukraine at the World Court.” Koh will take questions from the audience at the end of his talk.

Sir Christopher Meyer, who served as Prime Minister John Major's press secretary, is one of a select few individuals with intimate knowledge of working in isolation with the leader of a major global power.

As well as being a professional lecturer and author, David Stuttard founded the touring theatre company Actors of Dionysus, which specializes in classical Greek drama. He has also written dramatic reconstructions of the lost Euripides plays Alexandros and Palamedes, which were premiered as part of 'The Trojan Trilogy' at the British Museum. A Conversation with Paul Summerfield, Director of Development at the Royal United Services Institute
Paul joined RUSI in September 2018 and is responsible for all of RUSI’s philanthropic fundraising. He is currently leading a campaign to raise over £9 million.
Previously he was a Director at The Royal Society of Medicine for over 16 years. There he led all fundraising, raising many millions of pounds to support the provision of postgraduate medical education and training. In addition, he established and ran the Society’s flourishing medical innovations programme.
Paul’s career has included a series of director-level fundraising roles at the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE), Barts Hospital, and Jewish Care.
A highlight of his career was organizing an event for Nelson Mandela at the LSE.
